The Essex Record Office holds many different types of documents, including illustrations of people, places, buildings and events in the county of Essex. These include photographs, engravings, drawings and paintings from the eighteenth century to the present day. Some of these illustrations can now be found on this web site using the search facilities.

It is also possible to order a copy of an illustration using a downloadable order form. The number of images is currently limited but more will be added in due course.
