The images on this web site comprise photographs of people, places and
events in Essex taken by the people of Essex during the year 2000.
Together they help to capture the essence of Essex at the turn of
the Millennium. The project was co-ordinated by Essex County Council Heritage Services
jointly with Essex Libraries and Essex Cultural Services.
